This candle is scented with orange clove - one of my favorite primitive scents, but I have renamed it Proverbs 31:13 - after one of my favorite verses from scripture. Orange clove is a perfect blend of sweet and spice and reminds me of the rapidly vanishing country stores - you know the ones - set up in old houses full of creaks and crooks and crannies - that remind us of a time long past when pioneer women made do with what they had. Yeah, just like that.

Nothing says home like the comforting scent and glow of candles. Ours are highly scented and made in small batches to insure highest quality. These candles have an amazing throw - both hot and cold. They also fit nicely on a candle warmer for offices or any place where an open flame is not allowed.

Our container candles are made with a blend of soy wax, other vegetable waxes, and food grade paraffin. We use HTP wicks. We have found that the single most important thing you can do is to trim the wick to about 1/8" before each burn. This greatly reduces the amount of soot residue and helps your candle last much longer. Limit each burn time to 2-3 hours and never leave a burning candle unattended.
